The
steel framework and exterior walls of the new
elementary school being constructed in Chalfonte are
being erected. The building on the site of the
former Hanby Middle School will house the present
Brandywood Elementary and Bush Early Learning Center
in separate wings. It is scheduled for completion
during the 2011-12 academic year. Meanwhile, the
Brandywine district is conducting a survey to come
up with a name for the elementary school.
