The lobby will
have a look similar to what it had back in the 1930s
and '40s.
Much of the
original wood was put to new uses such as paneling
in the redesigned main office.
The large
auditorium has been restored and, in addition to
serving school purposes, it will be available for
community use.
All that
remains after two years of work are landscaping and
other finishing touches. After the coming
academic year, the building will be refitted to
accommodate grades six, seven and eight. Since 1978,
it has served as an intermediate school for younger
children.
