Classrooms and science laboratories will be fully up-to-date. The building will have all new furniture. Principal Carter said he expects enrollment in the coming year to be about 450 with the number expected to increase in the 2007-08 academic year. The renovated building is designed to accommodate 677 students.

 

Workers polish the new gymnasium floor. Visitors to the building also will find that the main office complex has been rebuilt so that it is an integral part of the entranceway. Talley originally was built using the same plans as Hanby Middle School. Renovation of that building is included in the third and final phase of the multi-year project. Read said it is too early to say whether the two schools will once again be twins.
