Clerk of Council Betsy Gardner (right) and receptionist Kathleen Harris begin the task of restocking the supply closet. In her capacity as chief of staff, Gardner supervised the logistics of the moves to and from temporary quarters.

  Moving back involved dealing with a long list of chores to assure that the office will be functional when Council resumes activity after the Labor Day holiday weekend.

It's hard to believe that all the stuff in these boxes came out of this same office when the premises were vacated. ...
