BULLETIN:  Wilmington Area Planning Council said that federal agencies on July 16 approved the New Castle County air qualiuty plan, thus preventing a threatened cutoff of federal funds for highway projects.  The plan does not include the controversial reduction of speed limits on Interstate 495 and the Delaware Route 1 Smyrna and Dover bypasses. Civic group wants new train station

Fox Point Association has launched a campaign to re-establish Edgemoor as a station on the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority's regional railroad system. That is expected to provide an impetus to spur redevelopment of southeastern Brandywine Hundred.
